We are developing a cadre of volunteers at Appalachian Forest Alliance. Whether you enjoy working outdoors, helping with community projects, or supporting our mission behind the scenes, there are opportunities for people of all ages and skill levels.

As a volunteer you can help improve forest health, provide firewood assistance to families in need, support educational programs, and strengthen our local communities.

Safety First

Volunteer safety is a top priority. Appropriate training, safety equipment, and supervision will be provided for all projects. Some activities may require signed liability waivers and age restrictions.

Group Volunteer Projects

Church groups, civic organizations, schools, scout troops, and businesses are encouraged to participate in community service projects. We can often customize projects to match the size and interests of your group.
